“I have read and enjoyed many books over the years, but seldom have I engaged and empathised with characters in the way that I have with yours.”

“A real page turner, which I didn’t want to end”

“House of Grace should be a film or TV drama”

“If you loved Barbara Taylor Bradford then you’ll love Patricia M Osborne”

“Wonderfully moving love story, full of emotion and, sometimes, painful reading as tragedy strikes and Grace struggles to deal with life’s ups and downs as she copes with a manipulative and wealthy family intent on destroying her life and her happiness.”

“A Romantic novel covering love, loss and determination.”

“A romantic novel covering love, loss and determination has an interesting storyline, and absorbing plot. It’s easy style makes for a great holiday read.”

“Patricia M Osborne brings the era 1950 -1970, with all its social changes, alive in the readers mind with the right amount of sensitivity and detail, enabling the reader to empathise and feel compassion for the choices Grace feels forced to make.”

“The story is heart-breaking when Grace is faced with adversity and despair and inspiring when she sets to overcome her greatest fears.”

“I followed Grace and her family through thick and thin, both elated at their joys and cast down by their misfortunes. I willed Grace on when she was forced to make hard decisions.”

“It’s the kind of book you can curl up with in an armchair and get transported to another world. It’s a great story, well written, an engaging central character and lots of very enjoyable period detail from the 50’s and 60’s. Highly recommended for a jolly good read.”

House of Grace makes a perfect gift for Mums and Grandmas. They like it because they can step back in time while young adults enjoy reading about life in the fifties and sixties. Quite a few male readers have also read and enjoyed it.
