Today we are lucky enough to have a return from the talented short story writer and Poet, Maureen Cullen. Here’s another of her poems, Wee Wifie, which may be found in Volume One, Primers, 2016, Nine Arches Press
Wee Wifie
Puddle milk on her worktop
she’ll curdle it wi an eyebrow.
Leave trainers in a heap
pick your way ower hot tracts.
Answer her back
dinnae hang about.
But when the headmaster
said my impertinence
was in the genes
she minced his tongue
wi her high speed
rotary mammaries.

Thank you, Maureen, for sharing another of your poems.
