Well I’m starting to get more adept at hopping along on crutches but it is still very tiring. I’m hoping tomorrow that we may get a visit from physio with tips on how I should be using them along with the best method to get up and down the stairs.
Everything is tiring but then hey, I’m back home so anything that is thrown at me is a breeze compared to Romania. Romania is now becoming a blur, almost like it never happened except for the evidence of a broken leg. It’s very frustrating having the need of a babysitter to make sure that I don’t stumble on my way to the toilet.
I hope the recovery is swift so I can get back to uni although I’m trying to keep on top of my studies reading lots and writing poems. Today I spent the time writing a poem about my operating experience and hope through editing and layering that it may well be able to be added to my portfolio for my poetry assignment later in May.
Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Gosh Tricia, how moving your account is of the hospital and the lack of resources. They seem to have done their best and I’m glad the nurse took a shine to you. What a relief for everyone that you’re back home.
Good luck with the rest of your recovery. And keep us up to date with how you are doing
Love

Thank you Maureen. I do believe that they did their best and some of the little nurses were lovely.
